On this week's groovy episode of our lil show, we strap in with an arm-mounted chainsaw and an S-Mart boomstick to explore one of the all-time great horror comedies, Evil Dead II. Is there any version of this movie that works without Bruce Campbell's performance? This is one of the most iconic and beloved movies in the entire horror canon, and we hope you'll tune in for as many tree-related puns as we can possibly muster. 

The zombie apocalypse continues in our latest episode as we chat about the surprisingly excellent sequel, 28 Weeks Later. Surely this movie has one of the best openings of any horror movie ever, right? Sweetening the pot even more are the film's many excellent actors, including Robert Carlyle, Rose Byrne, Jeremy Renner, Idris Elba, Harold Perrineau, and Imogen Poots. Can you believe it, friends? It's officially been 1 year since we started this spooky little show. With that fact in mind, we've got another banner classic from the horror catalogue with Steven Spielberg and Tobe Hooper's haunted house romp, Poltergeist. Have we ever seen any other movies where the ghosties can warp reality? Is this one of the most annoying on-screen families we've ever met? And just how many bodies are gonna come busting out of shit wood when this movie really pops off at the end? Tune in to find out.

On this week's dreamy spinetingler, we're hitting up another gold-star classic with Wes Craven's seminal slasher, A Nightmare on Elm Street. Yes, this is indeed the first appearance of honorary horror staple Robert Englund as the increasingly clownish killer, Sir Frederick Krueger. However, despite the occasional bouts of silliness, Freddy is still pretty terrifying in his first go. Stay tuned for two of the all-time great inventive 80s kills and the first appearance of Johnny Depp on the silver screen.

On our third business casual episode, we sit down to chat about the thin line between horror and non-horror as we discuss movies that still feel like they're in the horror genre, even though they're not technically. Requiem For A Dream, The Abyss, Lords of Chaos, There Will Be Blood, and many more make appearances.
